Usage
Text Translation
Translate plain text between 12+ languages.
Text translation is Karpa's core workflow. Here's how it works.
Steps
- Select a source language (or use Auto Detect).
- Select a target language.
- Choose a translation tone (optional).
- Enter your text in the source panel.
- Press
Ctrl+Enteror click Translate.
The translated text appears on the right panel in real time.
What you can do with the result
- Copy — click the copy icon to copy to clipboard.
- Listen — click the speaker icon to hear the translation aloud (TTS).
- Favorite — star the translation to save it permanently.
- History — every translation is automatically saved.
During translation
- A progress bar shows translation progress.
- For long texts, Karpa splits the content into chunks and translates them sequentially. You can see the current chunk and total count.
- Click Cancel to stop a running translation at any time.
Supported languages
English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic.
Translation tones

| Standard | General purpose, everyday translation. |
| Formal | Business, official, respectful communication. |
| Casual | Friendly, conversational messages. |
| Technical | Documentation, code comments, precise wording. |
Tips
- Auto Detect works best with longer text. Short phrases can be ambiguous.
- Use the swap button to exchange source and target languages (only when source is not Auto Detect).
- Switch between Text and File modes using the toggle at the top of the translator.
- The character count is shown at the bottom of each panel.
