Text Translation

Translate plain text between 12+ languages.

Text translation is Karpa's core workflow. Here's how it works.

Steps

  1. Select a source language (or use Auto Detect).
  2. Select a target language.
  3. Choose a translation tone (optional).
  4. Enter your text in the source panel.
  5. Press Ctrl+Enter or click Translate.

The translated text appears on the right panel in real time.

What you can do with the result

  • Copy — click the copy icon to copy to clipboard.
  • Listen — click the speaker icon to hear the translation aloud (TTS).
  • Favorite — star the translation to save it permanently.
  • History — every translation is automatically saved.

During translation

  • A progress bar shows translation progress.
  • For long texts, Karpa splits the content into chunks and translates them sequentially. You can see the current chunk and total count.
  • Click Cancel to stop a running translation at any time.

  • Switch between Text and File modes using the toggle at the top of the translator.
  • The character count is shown at the bottom of each panel.
