History & Favorites
Every translation is saved locally. Star the ones you want to keep.
Karpa keeps a local history of everything you translate and lets you star translations as favorites for quick reuse. Both live in your browser storage on your machine (see Data & Storage).
History
Open History from the sidebar to browse past translations.
- Text translations show source and result side by side.
- File translations show the file card with name, source language, and target language, plus a Download button for the translated file.
- Remove any entry individually, or wipe everything via Settings → Data → Clear All Data.
Favorites
Star a translation (from the result panel or history) to pin it to Favorites. Favorites survive even if you clear regular history, until you unstar or delete them yourself.
Backups
History and favorites are included in JSON exports from Settings → Data → Export Data. See Data & Storage for the backup format.
