Keyboard Shortcuts

Work faster with Karpa's keyboard shortcuts.

Karpa keeps your hands on the keyboard.

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl+Enter` (`Cmd+Enter` on macOS)	Start translation
`Escape`	Close the history panel
`Ctrl+,`	Open settings
`Ctrl+D`	Toggle dark/light theme
`Ctrl+B`	Toggle the sidebar
`Ctrl+?`	Show the shortcuts dialog

Notes:

Ctrl+Enter works in both Text and File modes, from the source text box or after selecting a file.
The same shortcuts work everywhere in the app; there is no per-page mode switching to memorize.

For actions like copy, listen (TTS), favorite, and download, use the buttons in the translation result area.

History & Favorites

Every translation is saved locally. Star the ones you want to keep.
